Jack Brett Anderson is an actor represented by United Agents.
He got his big break in the BBC show Wolfblood playing the role of Matei Covaci. The popular cult show ran for five years and remains popular on streaming.
Jack followed this with a role in the National Geographic TV show Genius alongside Antonio Banderas and Emily Watson, which can now be seen on Disney+
Most recently, Jack starred in Domina for MGM, and the BAFTA winning TV show The Great with Elle Fanning, Gillian Anderson, and Jason Isaacs.
Jack caught the eye of our team early on during casting and remained the sole choice for the male lead. Consequently, we expressed this with Jack’s agency who requested the screenplay for his consideration. Upon reading the script, Jack signed on immediately, and went into detail about why he was keen to be cast in The Insect Life which you can read below.

“There are few times in life, when you read a script and it completely immerses you into its world. The micro and macro views of The Insect Life are seamlessly executed displaying the beautiful and the ugly in some perfect duel throughout. I honestly couldn’t read the script any faster than I did because with each word, I was able to imagine it.
Levi has the grass root problems that many people, including myself are able to relate to and the way this script does that is visually stunning. Levi and Céleste, for me, are like the shining of one soul and in turn, the dimming of another.
What this story made me feel and think was that, life can be hard, misleading and not fair but it’s not what happens to us but rather how we handle it…what we do with it because ultimately it brings you to where you end up. I suppose, what you hold onto can be the very thing that holds you back. The Insect Life brings an intriguing aspect to it all and I’m looking forward to bringing Levi off the page.”
